Sriti Jha is a most beautiful telly actress in Indian telly soap. She mostly knew as Jhanvi Dobriyal for the show “Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava” in 2011 on the channel LIFE OK. Her first serial was in 2006, she did a role of Malini Sharma in “Dhoom Machao Dhoom” on Disney Channel India. Presently she is playing the character of an innocent girl Pragya Abhisek Mehera in the serial “Kumkum Bhagya” on Zee TV.

Personal Life: Sriti was born on 26th February 1986 in Begusarai in the state of Bihar but her original native is Darbhanga. She completed her schooling at Modern Indian School in Khathmandu (Nepal) and later joined Laxman Public School, Delhi.

She played the lead role in verbum play titled “Ritual in Blood” and that gave her the best actor award in Delhi university.

There were many rumors that she is dating with Harshad Chopra, Co-Star of “Saubhagyavati Bhava”, but Harsgad denied it.

Career

Sriti started her carrier for an Indian musical comedy drama combined show “DhoomMachaoDhoom” in the year 2006 for Disney channel India. Then she worked for 9x channel of a romantic drama “Jiya Jale” as Sunayana in 2007 and then she played character of a split personality disorder girl Sudha for the serial “Jyoti” on ND TV Imagine in the year 2009, in the same year she also signed to did the lead role of “Sahurya Aur Suhani” in star plus as princes Suhani.

She did her next project with the NDTV imagine’s show “Raktsambandh” in 2010, she took the main lead as Sandhya a blind girl. Then she signed for “dil se di dua …soubhagyavativaba” on life ok as a character of Jhanvidobrial, a very innocent wife who had tortured from her husband, it was based on fully family drama, this show collected more popularity among the audience.

Dhoom Machaao Dhoom(English: Rock Let's Rock) is an Indian musicalcomedy-drama television series aired on Disney Channel India[3] that ran from 8 January 2007 to 10 January 2008 totaling 100 episodes.[1][2] The story revolves around Priyanka Sethi and a band which she formed with her three friends, the Pink Band.[2] The show is one of the first Disney Channel India Original Series.[2][4]

The show is notable for being the debut platform of many actors who later went to have a successful acting career like Sriti Jha,[5]Kinshuk Mahajan,[6]Toral Rasputra,[7]Maanvi Gagroo,[8]Vikrant Massey[9] and Jay Bhanushali.[10]

Plot[edit]

Lyrics

Priyanka Sethi returns to Delhi from New York with her mother after her parents divorce and has trouble adjusting in her new school. Priyanka, who sings, composes and plays guitar, often spends time in the music room of her school where she befriends three unlikely people: Malini who plays keyboards secretly due to her conservative father's opposition to music, Bikki, an extrovert Punjabi girl who plays tambourine and Kajal, a hot-headed rebellious girl who plays drums. The four of them create a band of their own, called Pink Band and try to break the stereotypes regarding music, bands and norm of society and soon become idols loved by other girls.[4]

The queen bee of the school, Koel, is jealous of them and leaves no stone unturned to sabotage the band. Despite all odds, the band sticks together, and the story shows how they achieve international fame with their will and music.[4]
